Words from the photographer:

It was such a special ceremony ... both of them wrote personal vows that they read to each other. There were many happy tears shed between these lovebirds.

Wanda, the officiant, had a special treat for them with a sand unity ceremony where they combined their lives into one. It was an extremely intimate moment which is why I love elopements so much. It was just this beautiful couple, the officiant, and the open desert.

What a beautiful and unique ceremony for two incredible human beings.

Lauren + Vance decided to elope in one of the most beautiful spots in the Las Vegas area - the Dry Lake Bed. They drove to Vegas from San Diego fo...

Words from the photographer:

It was a warm and sunny day, which doesn’t sound unusual considering Arizona is known for the 100-plus-degree heat, but the week leading up to AJ and Erin’s wedding day was pretty chilly for us Phoenicians! We’re glad for the warmth: Erin looked stunning in her classic, chic white wedding dress, but with dresses comes airflow, so we’re glad the sun warmed things up to make sure the bride was comfortable during her own wedding.

What a wedding it was, too. The desert landscape provided a perfect backdrop for AJ and Erin’s first look, and the grin on AJ’s face when he told Erin she did a great job picking out her dress was nothing sh...

Words from the photographer:

Kenzie and I had a blast shooting on Lookout Mountain. The dress is vintage. I found it an antique mall a while back here in Colorado, and knew it needed to be captured on film. The bouquet was made my me, inspired by the dry neutrals of Colorado autumn.

Words from the photographer:

When you tell people that you’re a photographer, they usually picture you hunched over your gear or hidden in a darkly lit room editing photos until deep into the night. Although editing is a big part of my job, I actually spend a lot of my time enjoying the beautiful landscape and warm weather that Texas has to offer. This engagement shoot of Bailee & Jacob took me to Laguna Gloria for the fourth time in a month, and I’m not mad about it.

Bailee and Jacob were extremely easy to work with. When the couple in front of your camera is as ridiculously good looking as these two are, every photo makes me do a little happy dance (Intern...

Words from the photographer:

This super cool couple wanted an urban/industrial/rock n roll feel for their engagement session. This couple had just moved to Portland from LA and wanted the industrial vibe of Portland to come through in their shoot.

Bohemian minimalist wedding inspiration with touches of southwestern folk art traditions.

What Wedding Planner Justine Fritz from Tie the Knot by Tessa is saying:

Location: The Heard Museum, in the heart of Phoenix’s Art and Culture District. The Museum is a prime example of the local architecture featuring traditional and contemporary American Indian Art. The museum’s ballroom is a modern take on traditional southwestern architecture. Clearestory window run the length of the space, each featuring a traditional stone banco for sitting and admiring the views. The neutral paint reflects the light from the windows onto the dark highly...

Words from the photographer:

Inspired by a gentle garden feel the romantic greens and soft white hues matched the gentle personalities of the bride and groom.

If you ever were to meet Jessica and Kevin you would know that they are the embodiment of relaxation. Their love is one of a calm bliss that can quickly be overlooked; but in the linger in their looks or the gentle guidance of the groom to his new bride one can tell that theirs is a true love. Wether it be that time has made them comfortable with one another, or that two souls were never mean for one another more. It spoke of the lives that Jessica and Kevin live that each individual could not have been...
