Veronica and her team of amazing vendors decked out this moody styled shoot with all of the bells and whistles. Allyssa Elaine Events has come up with such great inspiration for this shoot. With the mixed metals and velvet on the bouquet, This team made the ultimate moody look.
The handwritten runner makes the perfect DIY aspect to the shoot. It matches perfectly with the burgundy candles and napkins. The beautiful emerald color that was chosen for the tablecloth on the cake table brings out the more wild side of the shoot, which by the way has made the perfect setting.
The apple cider bar and the cake pair perfectly with the moody tones, with the gr...

Melissa and John met at the University of North Carolina. After being together for three years, they finally tied the knot this May!
The wedding was held at the Lace House in Columbia, South Carolina.
Their gorgeous engagement session took place in Charleston, South Carolina. If you have ever been to Charleston you know its history and beauty and you can't deny that this couple makes the senery look even more beautiful.
Due to John's career in the Marine Corps, They were unable to have their engagement session until one month before the wedding. John has been deployed during the majority of their engagement. Thank you to John for your service!
Despite having nearly 150 of their closet family and friends, Lindsey and Timothy’s wedding was intimate, cozy and a total reflection of them as a couple, The wedding focused on delicious Louisiana cuisine and dancing and laughing the night away.
I mean seriously how cute are they?
Timothy’s father, Miguel, presided over the ceremony, which not only brought heartfelt words of wisdom from his years as a pastor but also gave advice to the young couple in what a marriage is, touching on that despite everything that is beautiful about this day.
The rings came from Timothy’s grandparents who had passed shortly before their engagement. The rings hold the weight of n...
To some brides bridal portraits do not mean a lot, but to this bride they meant the world. We were hired to style her whole bridal session with photographer Danielle Hutchinson.
Kelly a formal model wanted to go all out for her photos and it HAD to be on the beach.
We found a secluded location by the dunes in Emerald Isle, North Carolina. We decided to use the brides favorite color (and the pantone color of the year) to use on the table for the décor. W. Designs by Whitney went down Coast Guard road to find the florals to make sure they fit the theme “island” theme.
Whiskey is the brides favorite drink of choice and she wanted to incorporate that with her photo...
Maddie and Heratio's love for each other was like non other. They are the perfect southern couple. Maddie and Heratio met one summer on the beach surrounded by friends and they decided to have an intimate elopement just the two of them in Trenton, North Carolina.
Their bridal photos took place outside of an abandoned church (The Lost Coin Church) and down by the lake and downtown Trenton.
Heratio gave Maddie his grandmothers yellow diamond for her engagement ring and she paired it beautifully with a simple dress from kata Banko Brides. Heratio also carried his fathers pocket watch during the day in remembrance of him.
This beautiful brunch styled shoot took place at The River Oaks Garden Club in Houston, Texas. The colors and florals matched the blues of the bridesmaid's dress and the plates on their table. The photos by Arzu Vargas Photography depict a bridal brunch perfectly that was styled so gracefully by May & Sage Events.
Here is what Millie from May & Sage Events said about her inspiration behind the shoot, and why she decided to go to this venue and the vendors she used.
When visiting the River Oaks Garden Club, I instantly fell in love with the garden that had these fantastic floral arches. The inside of the venue was so beautiful it had a fantastic room filled...
Heather and I met over Instagram (I mean how else do wedding pros in different states meet!?). We automatically clicked and decided to do a styled shoot together in March of 2018. The inspiration came from a few different aspects. I wanted it to be elegant but also represent a real wedding at a local winery in California. Heather called Peltzer Winery in Temecula, California and they were immediately on board.
I was able to sit down with the Event Manager Sarah after the shoot and she gave me some awesome details about the winery. It was great to learn all of the details about the venue because you never really do when doing a shoot.
The inspiration for this shoot started by picking emerald green as the primary color. When Jerrye Gordon Events and I decided on the inspiration for this shoot at The Meadows in Raleigh, North Carolina, we chose on the color because of the white fireplace they have in the main room. Who doesn't love white and emerald? Erin and Tate, a real couple by the way, showcased their love and affection throughout the day and we wouldn't have had it any other way.
The color emerald is considered the heart of crystal as it has an aura of energy and hope. When we were deciding on the venue, we wanted to pick a new venue in town. We both believe in the importance of showc...
Colors are always the start for the inspiration of your wedding or styled shoot. Start with the bold and go from there. This editorial stylized shoot that took place in the empty part of The Prettiest Pieces warehouse really came to life with the power of color.
Walking into the shoot I had a vision. Boho chairs at the table, clear glasses for the table setting, dark purple napkins and berries were not involved. When I got there it all changed. Being able to walk around and play and pick and choose to make the table and the ceremony site perfect really was a game changer. We went with green wine glasses , berries instead of a napkins and somehow I ended up...
