Yes, it is still winter. Yes, we are unhappy about it. BUT we got so lucky when receiving this submission because it makes winter look dreamy and perfect.
Words from the photographer:
The inspiration for this shoot was to create something both romantic and timeless with a winter theme. Classic winter colors were used throughout the details, flowers, and tablescape. Real fruit was used to accent the table and add a dramatic pop of color.
Mery and Juan’s lovestory is one for the fairytale books. After meeting at a cousin’s fifth birthday party when she was 13 and he was 16 it was “love at first sight.” It sounds crazy but here they are 30 years later, and celebrating 25 years of marriage with their two grown children in the city of love. These two were seriously made for each other, and we are so honored to have been able to share in their story and get to witness their relationship firsthand!
After tying the knot in front of 300 people when Mery was 18 and Juan was 21, Mery was hesitant to agree to a vow renewal, but Juan was insistent. He brought it up over and over again in the months appr...
Ok ladies, planning a bachelorette party is hard. Am I right? The planning, getting everyone together, is it destination or will it be local? There are so many inconsistent things that go with planning a bachelorette party.
Let us tell you about the sweetest company in the world for bachelorette party gifts and decor, and EVERY BRIDE WILL LOVE no matter what they want for their party!
Our friends at Dixie and Dot started their company in Mary of 2017 in Arkansas. Sisters Kelsey & Leslie had the idea to start a business based around their lives which are filled with love and fun!
Their company started on Amazon at their Dixie & Dot shop and th...
This gorgeous mountaintop styled elopement is all kinds of dreamy and romantic. From the gorgeous vibrant color scheme to the laid back styling, we are so in love with all of this! Models Shae-Lyn and Rylan seriously killed this shoot, and we’re a little bit sad that they aren’t a real-life bride and groom because they’re so sweet together!
The vintage inspired styling on this sweet set is absolutely everything! We love the grooms deep red suit jacket, and the way that they really pulled that color into this whole shoot. From the brides stunning deep red bouquet to her ever so cozy deep red scarf, this color really brings out a warmth and a beautiful contra...
This styled wedding, was absolutely breathtaking. We began the day before dawn and rowed out toward a small island at the center of the Saranac Lake, where the ceremony was to take place, taking photos as we paddled. This allowed us to catch the beautiful sunrise light. It was the perfect way to start the morning. After the ceremony, Hannah and Sam changed and we headed over to the Lake Placid Lodge, a beautiful Adirondack venue. The waterfront reception consisted of only a handful of guests to keep things intimate.
Two words: bridal jumpsuits. This trend has quickly become one of our favorites for the more modern bride, and we love that it can be equally as elegant as the traditional wedding gowns while being way more functional! This downtown Charleston styled shoot is such perfect inspiration for the modern bride and really captures the essence and fierceness of the modern woman.
More is not always better, and in our opinion the simple sleek styling of this shoot has everything a modern bride could want! We love the pairing of drop earrings and a partial undo with this look. Its got such an effortless feeling, and we really feel like we know the bride and g...
Kim and Jake met through a mutual friend, Jake would come by to visit and study and would see Kim and flirt, but it took him a while to finally ask her out.
On the day they decided to go out, Kim dressed up in a super cute skirt and heels, while Jake was just in a t-shirt and jeans because from his perspective-that was the norm when he would come and visit the mutual friends they had.
These two have been by each other's side since that day. They plan to tie the knot in an indoor ceremony facing the Kansas City Skyline in late April.
