Words from the Photographer:

This was a styled shoot with woodsy, boho vibes at Carolina Country Weddings in Mount Pleasant, NC. This workshop was meant to inspire other photographers and teach them how to host their own styled shoots and workshop, taking a vision and collaborating with other wedding vendors to bring that vision to like. This particular workshop was hosted by Phylicia Willis of Posh Moments Photography.  She did a stellar job putting this together, and so did all of the incredible vendors who were apart of it.

Most of the vendors are local to Charlotte, which made this shoot even more awesome. When I arrived for day two of the workshop, when...

Words from the Photographer:

Capturing Kelly and Nick’s intimate wedding at the beautiful Lenoir in the heart of Austin, Texas was a new experience for me. Sure, I’ve photographed my fair share of weddings of all shapes and sizes, but this one really stood out to me and I’ll tell you why:

I’ve shot intimate weddings before, but nothing quite as intimate as this. The guest list was only about 10-12 people and the focus that clearly stood out was that of family. I think that’s what really took the intimate feeling to a deeper level. It was as though they had carefully whittled down their guest list, choosing those that were among the closest to their hearts an...

Words from Heather:

Shooting this stunning and intimate Big Sur elopement was an absolute dream! The couple and all their guests stayed at the most adorable little place, Hidden Valley Inn! The rooms where each individual and the Inn served an amazing breakfast. As everyone arrived, they spent time near the pool with family and friends. Meanwhile, I spent the time to go check out the beautiful beach location they wanted to have their ceremony at. I spoke with the park ranger and we were all set for the next day! That night I met up with them and their guests across the street at an amazing cafe for their welcome dinner. The next morning they each excitedly g...

Words from the photographer:

The Inspiration for this photoshoot began with the idea of free flowing movement and expressing the beauty of having free rein of ones self. Today there is so much expected of a bride and how she should act and look. I want to break the stigmas and allow brides to know that it is okay to be unrestricted in exactly who you are on your wedding day.

As we walked down toward Canyon Lake you could hear the shouts and laughter of fellow lake goers as they enjoyed the last bits of Arizona sunshine in late September. The model, Alexis, did an amazing job of letting the vivid world around us take hold of her. The movement that came from t...

These lovebirds first met on the dating site Coffee Meets Bagel, so it was only fitting that their engagement session take place at a coffee shop. The photo shoot began at Verve Coffee in Downtown Los Angeles and became a walking tour of the various art pieces and murals in the area.

I discovered this abandoned airplane about 1.5 hours from where I am located and fell in love with it. It had an emergency landing just behind a small airport in a field and had just been left there. Brad and Kirsten were the perfect couple to brave the cold and rainy day for this unique engagement session!

Bridal Boudoir Photography

A bridal boudoir session should be classy and elegant…joyful and romantic!

It is meant to show your confidence, beauty and strength as a woman. A stylish boudoir session should convey your sense of style and your self-confidence as a woman.

It is a photography session only for you. Beautiful, natural light flowing on your curves and favourite lingerie only to caress the chosen parts of your body.

Bridal boudoir is a celebration of your body! You are beautiful as you are and this is a perfect opportunity to show your companion the perfect you. After months of bridal preparation why not use this occasion to c...

Kailey + Chad are 50% love and 50% giggles, making this one of the most fun sessions ever. These two are getting married in may, and we had a freaking great time romping around in this beautiful field in San Diego. There was lots of lovin, squishy hugs, hair-whipping piggy back rides, and sweet little nose nuzzles.

Shooting at the beautiful Bayou Bend Collections & Gardens was quite an experience. Tiffany styled in the Alessandra Rinaudo Arcadia gown was stunningly classic. This lush organic garden decorated with fantastic greenery and one of the most beautiful fountains in the Houston area was the fitting location for capturing bridal inspiration. The mansion built during the 1920’s has the plantation vibe with classic columns. Capturing Tiffany on the stairs leading up to the mansion with the Italian wedding gown train in full display was one of our favorite photographs from this session.

Words from the photographer:

In the words of Alex Moreau, our amazing coordinator that helped make this shoot possible, “this stunning one of a kind bohemian inspiration shoot in Dripping Springs will hit you right in the feels.” And I couldn’t agree more! This amazing inspiration shoot is filled with statement pieces. From the brass heron figurines to the vintage typewriter and cowhide textiles in the lounge, unique pieces are a hallmark of Alex’s design!

The inspiration behind this shoot was pulling in non-traditional wedding décor, like the wooden lanterns, minimally modern ceremony site, and fun extras. Not only was the décor “untraditional”, so was our c...
