Sarah and Sam decided if their wedding was going to be in March, they were going to get married somewhere warm! Sarah was the perfect beach bride - complete with the coolest shades, a long veil to blow in the ocean breeze, and a beautiful, yet flowy wedding dress. Their ceremony took place inside the Fort Lauderdale Latter-day Saint Temple, but we were able to take tons of family and couple portraits outside this gorgeous building! Later, we met at the beach for sunny and sandy photos.
Their reception was held outdoors overlooking the ocean, and their guests were treated to the warm tropical breeze and sound of the pounding waves.
Dia and Hector eloped in Las Vegas. You can't tell from their joyful faces but we had blisteringly cold winds (The coldest on record for this date since 1948!) but they were SUCH troopers. They drove to Las Vegas to elope all the way from San Francisco and we had a fantastic time driving around and picking the most picturesque spots for photos.
The El Dorado Dry Lake Bed and Sloan National Conservation Area are two locations that are pretty close to each other but with vastly different sceneries. The Dry Lake Bed is just flat and cracked bare earth while Sloan National Conservation Area is lush with desert greenery (yes tha...
A typical wedding tradition is the wedding cake, right? I mean seriously who doesn't love cake? WE DO! Over the last few months we have been on the search for the best and most unique cakes. We love a traditional cake but we also love something that is different and is more appealing to the modern bride.
A tradition for brides and grooms are to save the top tiers of their cakes to eat on their first wedding anniversary. Who saved their top tier of theirs an actually ate it on their anniversary?
"Nestled within Temecula Valley, The Retro Ranch created the perfect backdrop for this earthy intimate elopement. The private 10 acre estate provides endless areas throughout the property and hidden locations to capture unforgettable memories. The retro 1968 air-stream also provided a fun backdrop for the cake and dessert area.
Hues of emerald green, sage, taupe, ivory and slate created a modern twist and was visually breathtaking. The inspiration added a little mystery and masculinity to this earthy intimate elopement.
For the ceremony, the venues natural pampas grass was a stunning backdrop along with an assortment of candles...
This styled-bridal shoot was inspired by the rugged landscape of O'ahu's south-east shoreline, and the color palette of a stunning Hawaiian sunset. Sunset colors were mirrored in the lush, detailed bouquet made by O'ahu florist, Lulus Lei and Bouquets. A handmade crystal-quartz crown was created by Los Angeles based Hair and Makeup Artist, Emily Lynn and Company, the crystals chosen to mirror the texture and stone of the carved cliffs. The "Feuille" gown was handmade by local Hawai'i designer, Miyuki Liem Bridal. "Feuille" is delicate and ethereal, yet exuding confidence and feminine strength with its stunning off-white organza c...
We had so much fun with this wedding editorial. Partially because I was able to use my son and his friends as the groom and groomsmen as models. Secondly, because we had whiskey.
The gorgeous female model couldn't be put to chance for the photos, so we hired her from Anita Norris Models.
A challenge I had when making the fabulous cake made of cheese was finding larger cheese wheels. I went to three different stores and they were all on back order. It ended up looking just right though with what I was able to get.
The venue is so dreamy and absolutely perfect for weddings. It is set on U of T Scarborough property and is in the...
Charles and Codi are Las Vegas natives filled with ambition and creativity. They are recent college graduates who have been together since high school. Their engagement shoot was filled with genuine laughs and talks about the future.
It wasn’t hard to tell that this engagement shoot was going to be amazing right from the start. I mean, when your client shows up wearing a hat from your favorite hat designer, Goorin Bros, you know it’s going to be a good day!
I really did enjoy working with these two right from the start and for more reasons than just Chris’s taste in headwear. These two were a super sweet and genuine couple which made capturing their affection for each other an easy task. I felt like I was getting a special opportunity to glimpse into the authentic love between them and almost every moment seemed to be perfect to photograph.
