Popping the question on the peak of a volcano?! I don't think anyone can top that. You'd think that Ronnie had that planned for MONTHS...nope. He actually was planning on proposing during their cruise on the way over to Hawaii but he got too nervous. haha. Too cute!
The most memorable moment of their photoshoot was when I had Audrey jump on Ronnie's back and had him run down the beach. I think he thought it was a race because he ran so fast! It was HILARIOUS! There was a moment where Ronnie was running so crazy that Audrey was accidentally chocking him in order to hang on! I don't think I've ever laughed that hard during a...
Shannon and Kenneth met in college. He'd found some crutches lying around and was using them for fun, so Shannon's first conversation with Kenneth was him spinning a tale about being attacked by a shark. Even though the story wasn't true, their love was, and they are quite the team. He's an engineer, she's a doctor, and they love their family and friends so well. Their gorgeous day had pockets of heartfelt tears, roaring laughter, hilarious shenanigans, and vows that they were both 100% sure of. It's inspiring to get to witness a couple who loves each other as much as Shannon and Kenneth do!
Danielle & Blake eloped with just a few family and friends atop Loveland Pass in Colorado. Danielle was intentional to still bring her own personal style of mountain rustic meets chic and luxurious to their big day. In Jimmy Choo's and a Rue De Seine dress, their elopement was one for the books with a stunning sunset to finish off the day.
Having grown up just minutes from this venue, I am so thankful that I found the hidden gem that is Prospect Hill Inn in Louisa, Virginia. It is quaint and steeped in history. Once a plantation, now a bed and breakfast, they still maintain the old South feeling on the property with soft a pastel yellow main building and cottages with a long line of boxwood bushes leading up to the inn.
Kassie O’Driscoll, founder and lead creative of K. Layne Styled Society, channeled inspiration from the surroundings and used pastel yellow and dusty blue as the color palate for this summer styled shoot. The invitation suite, designed by Kara Anne &...
For this fun and romantic end of summer wedding styled shoot, event designer Brooke from Brooke Casey weddings brought a bright, summer freshness to the dreamlike property of Il Mercato, a beautiful Spanish colonial style building nestled in the heart of the Garden District in New Orleans. Brooke created a colorful wedding day motif including a bright and eccentric flower bar to celebrate the history of the venue, which was originally constructed to be a neighborhood market.
The brides, newlyweds Jenna and Zabeth loved their wedding last year so much that they offer to model for styled shoots whenever possible! Their love is beautiful to witness and their ene...
Our cameras were addicted to these beautiful New York residents, Brittany and Peter, as they tied the knot in Dripping Springs- located just south of Austin TX.
The tried and true Prospect House has proven to be a most malleable space- able to be shaped and formed and molded into just about anything a person can dream up. Brittany and Peter mixed luxury and elegance with a modern edge to create a wedding experience that showcased their individual style and personality. The talented Westcott Weddings executed this event without hitch, and no one who was privileged to attend this joyous event will ever forget it.
Romantic with a touch of bohemian, this styled shoot was a dream come true! The shoot took place in southern Ontario and the couple was even wearing their own wedding outfits so it felt so natural for them to be in front of the camera.
Josh and Olivia are high school sweethearts who went on their first date after a church event. Olivia did not know they were going on a first date (surprise!) , and just enjoyed hanging out with Josh. Josh picked up their favorite pizza, and they lost track of time talking all night.
Megan captured these two love birds so perfectly, we love her soft airy style and we can't even begin to imagine how gorgeous their wedding photos turned out.
This styled elopement was born out of the idea to encourage brides to explore more colors for their wedding day. One regret I have as a bride, is picking colors that I didn't love. I picked them because they were common, I knew they looked good from the countless Pinterest inspiration posts I found, but afterwards, I didn't feels like my wedding truly depicted our love story. So with this shoot, I hoped to have something tangible to show brides just how beautiful and elegant these uncommon wedding colors can be, and to hopefully inspire them to be more true to themselves when planning their day.
For this styled shoot, we wanted to inspire brides with a fine art take on the use of floral. Fresh floral paintings with elegant brushstrokes and bespoke color palettes set the mood for our entire shoot.
Our bride dawned a gorgeous A-Line gown with blush undertones, and an elegant cathedral-length veil to play up the romantic and feminine elements of this shoot. With simplicity at the core of her hair and makeup styles, we elected to use an array of copper, blush, rose gold and neutral tones throughout the color pallet to truly keep the art as a main focal point.
Our tablescape was filled with intricate yet impactful details. From...
