Ashley and Michael have one of those love stories that just give people hope. They initially dated in high school, but do to circumstance drifted apart as many high school relationships often do. Fast forward a few years and the two reconnected and fell back in love. We are so happy that they found each other again, and it just goes to show that sometimes you can meet “the one” in high school.
When they decided on a fall wedding, the Wilson Creek Winery was an automatic choice. Between its rich colors, and gorgeous vineyards, it created a perfect backdrop for their intimate ceremony and reception. They decided to carry through the theme of the vineyard by using wine barrels to hold some of their floral arrangements, and it really adds a special touch and cohesiveness.
We love Ashley’s choice of warm colors for her florals and her bouquet, pulling in the rich yellow hues of sunflowers and deep reds of blooming carnations. The babies breath and seeded eucalyptus tied it all together, and created a seamless flow between her florals and her gorgeous dress and flowing train.
We really cant imagine anything more romantic than running through a vineyard at sunset with your new husband, surrounded by grape vines and perfect golden light. What a dreamy ending to a perfect day!
