Former Dairy Farm Turned Wedding Venue Wedding

June 27, 2018

Hidden away on a busy Texas highway, The Grand Texana, a former dairy barn from the 1930’s has been transformed into the dreamiest wedding venue. With gorgeous white walls, streaming light, and farmhouse tables adorned with greenery, its nearly indistinguishable from its former purpose. We couldn't dream up a more romantic place to get married!

We love the bride and grooms use of blue as an accent color, meant to mimic the endless blue skies that flow over the barn most days. It adds a simple elegance and luxury, especially paired with the dreamy gold touches in the table scape and macarons. The draping florals and use of blue thistle and eucalyptus pull it together perfectly, and are such a huge staple for weddings this season! We can see why, as they add such a romantic quality to any floral display, and again, pull in that gorgeous blue color that the wedding is centered around. We love the simple ways they tie in their accent color in their gorgeous invitation suite as well. Pairing the light lavender blue with the deeper richer blue of the ribbon, and the creams of the invite and the florals. Its just enough to capture the calmness and romance they’re going for without being over done.

The bride and grooms attire is so perfectly suited to their venue and style choices as well. Its absolutely elegant, without being overdone, and adds a simple sweetness to their day. We love the old fashioned romance it captures, and how sweetly it goes with their venue as well.

Can we just take a second to completely fawn over their getaway car? This gorgeous white Rolls-Royce is perfectly restored, and the sweetest touch to an already sweet day! And who wouldn't want to drive away in that? We know we would!
