This sweet session may have been a styled shoot, but the couples love is very real, and their story is even sweeter. They eloped when he was in the Marine Corps and never had a wedding nor did they have photos taken. When she saw that a photographer was looking for a couple for a styled shoot, she was over the moon. It was an absolute dream for them to play bride and groom for the day, and their real authentic connection was so evident in these pictures.

These windswept lovebirds are so dreamy together, and clearly just as in love as they were when they first got married. We love the effortless styling, the cascading florals, and the brides barefoot, free spirited nature which shone through in all of the pictures. Her stunning backless gown has such beautiful lace details, and is complimented so well by her simple hairstyle and minimalistic jewelry details. It really lets all of the attention be on the connection between the couple, and we love that!

The incredibly talented photographer behind the shoot perfectly captured candid moments amidst the golden sunlight, and the spirit of young lovers. We love the use of motion and light in all the pictures, and the emotion that it captures. “The idea behind this shoot was to capture the bride who is whimsical, loves feeling the sand in her toes, and isn't afraid to get her dress a little wet,” the photographer said. She really wanted to capture the fierce and unconditional kind of love, and she did just that.
