The inspiration for this shoot came from a beautiful watercolor image that appears throughout the shoot. The piece is by Jana of the Tanged Pen, Christina Burton Events decided on turning her art into a focal-point banner, the colors and look all came together around it. The overall feel of this shoot is adventurous and wild, while still being rustic industrial.
The venue is right next to a park and features large, beautiful windows, they wanted to give the space a feel that brought the outside indoors. To do that they brought in many potted trees and shrubs of all sizes to incorporate throughout the decor. The watercolor painting has colors with smoky blues and greys and they were able to pull those colors in with the napkins and accent colors around the table.
This styled shoot screams summertime, and boy are we loving the weather! The head table sat 20 guests with perfect white plates. The pink flowers make the blues really stand out and compliment the striped dress that the bride decided on. Christina wanted to add the element of adventure into the shoot alongside the painting she added a globe that sat on the bourbon bar cart she also added old books to give that the feel.
