Emily and Jesse met while working at Starbucks. After three years of dating, he proposed by recreating several of their first dates. The pair bonded over a love of beer and have matching hops tattoos. One of the unique features was their custom pickle bar provided by good friend Zarah Newton of The War Mouth. "We love pickles and Zarah is Columbia's official pickle person." Guests were able to snack on these before dinner was ready. There was also had a wide variety of craft beer and Let Love Brew koozies to match.
The wedding was focused outside in the gardens. The garden is conveniently split into two parts, perfect for a ceremony & reception. The ceremony location consisted of large palm trees we simply decorated the aisles with white flowers. The reception was decorated with white tables & chairs, covered in cream linens, topped with beer growlers holding barley and flowers for centerpieces. Jesse and Emily both love games and made sure to include games throughout, tic tac toe and corn hole for example. Everything was covered with twinkle lights for a lovely garden party.
Emily said the most anticipated or special moment of your wedding day was "We each had a best man. They each prepared a toast for the reception. These were so wonderful to hear. We truly felt loved by our best men/friends at this moment."
Isn't it an amazing feeling to feel loved? This wedding had the most important DIY details that showed their love for not only each other but pickles and beer. We cant agree more than when planning your wedding you add all the details of your daily life that are important.
