Words from the photographer:
This gorgeous styled shoot is a fun play on color and texture inside the beautiful setting of the Zoological Wildlife Foundation in Miami, Florida! The shoot was artistically designed around multiple levels of color and incorporated geode rocks to add texture. Because the shoot took place in a zoo, we wanted the bride & groom to be more casual, but still trendy! The bride wore a chic Carol Hannah ensemble consisting of a 4-ply silk crepe tee with fitted underlayer and rolled sleeves + draped silk gazar skirt with organza underlay. We styled her in red shoes with a matching lip for a pop of color. Our groom wore a long white dress shirt and royal blue pants from Zara, and you cannot miss his cooler-than-life bow tie made of leaves! The florals were very organic, matching the natural landscape of the zoo. The wedding favors were air plants inside hand-painted glass vases. You can't miss the tablescape with the abstract-worded letterpress menu tags and geode name plates! Best of all, we got to shoot with the baby liger (lion + tiger) and he obviously was ready for his modeling debut.
