Words from the photographer:
Jessica and Henry knew immediately when they met that it would be forever. They have been together for four years and together they have four kids. Gage is their baby together and he's 3 years old. Henry proposed on the 4th of July in 2016 in front of all of Jessica’s friends and family while her favorite song was playing in the background. Talk about romantic!
They believe that you should never stop dating the person you love and their favorite date activities include watching Marvel movies, traveling the world, and arts and crafts with their kids.
For this glam styled desert elopement, we met up at the Pismo dunes and set up their altar. We used fallen eucalyptus branches (which still smelled so fresh!) for an effortless and organic touch to the sandy landscape. We dressed up the altar and her bouquet with white roses and purple fountain grass to compliment the light and natural color palette.
Jessica’s dress was covered in sequins from head to toe which added an unexpected and bold statement. They hiked up the dunes, ran down holding hands, rolled around in the sand, and got to play with some smoke bombs for an ethereal, out-of-this-world look.
This was the most perfect way to celebrate their love for each other and to document this very special time in their lives.
