Joshua Tree Boho Elopement Inspiration

December 1, 2018

Words from the Photographer:

Since the first time I ever heard of Joshua Tree it became this magical place for me. Every time I go there I am in awe. If you have ever been there you may also find that is has this sense of peace, the light shining golden through the Joshua Trees and this ongoing land ready for adventure. Joshua Tree is a perfect spot for an elopement or intimate wedding. Jax and Octavio, long term family friends decided to give love a chance and some time later ended up in front of my camera in the ever stunning Joshua Tree. We put together this beautiful fall boho styled elopement shoot, without any fall at all, because well, it is the desert after all! There were a few things we were set on for this "elopement" which were beautifully printed vows, succulents, a touch of home and fun! We could not have been more stoked after walking into the Airbnb with all of its beautiful decor from the owners travel all over the world! Jax wore a beautiful Rosa Clara gown that screams both sexy and vintage. After everyone was ready and had spent a little time soaking everything in we headed for the park! Joshua Tree is never a disappointment and always takes my breathe away, especially with these two love birds wandering around in it! We ended the evening at sunset with champagne and these delicious pop tarts in the shape of Arizona at the peak of the park. Returning later in the night for some romantic star images by the Joshua Trees. All in all, we wanted to show couples that all elopements look different, all weddings look different, but it is important to have a day that is completely you! Planning ahead for things that will mean so much to you the day of and afterwards! I love the printed vows because they are such a sweet memento that could be framed with an image from the day in your home later! I love renting an Airbnb for your stay if you have traveled or to just get ready at that the environment can set the mood and be a relaxing space. Just remember to always get permission from the house owner! I hope that these images can spark your ideas in planning your own elopement! Remember all elopements and weddings are different, because each couple is different. Feel free to explore ideas and possibilities for you to have the BEST day ever!
