So many weddings these days are restricted to a certain style niche. They’re either boho or rustic, modern or a classic southern. This shoot was designed for the bride who is none or all of these things. Its a beautiful blend of styles and really represents the modern woman and everything she stands for. The modern woman is still romantic and feminine, but she is also incredibly sleek and powerful. She can be her own woman, but also seamlessly take on the role of wife or partner. We love that they really thought about who this shoot was for, and what it was really meant to embody, and we’re sure that so many women will see themselves in it.
All of the details are simple, yet so elegant. The brides silk dress isn't adorned with lace or heavy beading, but it is so understatedly beautiful. It takes no attention from the bride herself, and lets her joy be the thing that most draws your eye. Their attention to little details is beyond immaculate; from her delicate hairpiece to her lace trimmed veil. Everything is so well thought out and perfectly placed, and nothing is too much. Her bouquet effortlessly compliments the look but doesn't overwhelm. It seems to flow perfectly and really pulls in some gorgeous colors.
One of our favorite aspects of this shoot is the ceremony space. We love that the archway and chairs don’t obstruct the gorgeous forest and mountain views. The ghost chairs almost melt into the background, and create a really etherial effect. We love that the whole point of them was to seem as if they weren’t there so that the focus could be the incredible location and of course the gorgeous bride and groom! We are so impressed by this teams attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and ingenuity and we can’t wait to see what they craft together next!
