Words from the photographer:
"Laura and Scott were married at Seattle's Melrose Market Studios. Before the ceremony, they had a relaxed portrait session at Seattle's Volunteer Park Conservatory, a spot that is special to the couple. Laura wore a lace top from BHLDN and created her own skirt to compete the ensemble. Possibly my favorite moment from the day happened while taking a portrait of Scott—I asked him to look over my shoulder towards where Laura was standing with her bridesmaids and the change that came across his face was instant. Just watching his bride brought tears to his eyes! The kind of joy and love these two share is authentic and contagious; they could hardly wipe the smiles from their faces the whole day! The cherry blossoms were a perfect complement to the paper blooms that decorated the ceremony and reception space. Melrose Market's brick walls and festive string lights provided a romantic ambience for the sweet ceremony and festive reception. Many of Laura and Scott's guests had traveled from as far as Columbia, and both fathers gave such heartfelt toasts to the couple that there wasn't a dry eye left in the room!"
