Save the Date Portrait Session

August 6, 2019

Annaleigh and Trevor planned for a beautiful save the date engagement session to celebrate their love for each other! These two absolutely radiates with joy and affection for each other and their love story is absolutely beautiful!

Annaleigh and Trevor first met on the playground of Bristow Run Elementary school at just five years old. It was young innocent love of running away from each other with giggles, but yet telling their friends and family that they liked one another. Neither of them ever expected this is how their love story would begin.

It took Annaleigh a while to know he was the one prior to taking a real shot at dating. “I think every person goes through a period of confusion and uncertainty within themselves which ultimately makes them stronger, wiser, and more mature,” she says. After three or so years apart not saying a word to each other, an extended long awaited 'hello' brought them back together. At that dinner as "friends," Annaleigh knew he was the one. Trevor always knew and waited patiently for her to catch up.

As their love continued to grow, a Christmas Proposal was in their future. After

preparing to move into a new rental weeks before Christmas 2018, Annaleigh and Trevor had just finished packing and loading up some boxes into their cars on a Monday night. They decided the work was done for now, cozied up in pj's with some Christmas music while planning to open some Christmas gifts a little early (everyone does that right? ;))

Annaleigh sat down by the tree and looked at the couple of gifts, then asked Trevor which one he wanted to open first. Annaleigh heard Trevor run to the bedroom and as she was facing the tree she asked yet again which present he would like to open. Then turning back around to get an answer she found him on one knee saying, "I pick you, will you marry me?" Josh Groban's 'Noel' played in the background as tears swelled up in their eyes. Yes was the beautiful answer a thousand times as Annaleigh watched the most gorgeous ring she had ever seen slip onto my finger. The rest of the night left the newly engaged couple giddy and goggly-eyed for each other as they cherished the happiest Christmas of their lives.
